Biography
Dr Paul Downe graduated in Medicine from The University of New South Wales.
After completing general residency training he undertook physician
training at Concord Hospital, followed by specialist training in both clinical
and laboratory haematology at the Royal North Shore and Liverpool Hospitals.
Paul was awarded fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia
and consults in private clinical practice and undertakes laboratory haematology for Laverty Pathology.
In his clinical practice, Dr Downe provides assistance with haematologic problems
including anaemia, other blood count abnormalities, bleeding and clotting disorders, thalassaemia and haemoglobinopathies, elevated ferritin levels, lymphadenopathy and splenomegaly, monoclonal gammopathy, myeloma, lymphoma and chronic leukaemias.
Dr Paul Downe is available for private consultations fortnightly on Wednesdays at Cabramatta.
